Funeral services for Allan Wade Minter, age 56 of Seminole, Texas will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at First United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeremy Pitkin officiating. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Minter was born in Brownfield, Texas on February 28, 1963 to Novella Joe (Brown) and Jack Laverne Minter. Allan and Jackie Lynn Wheeler were roller skating buddies as children; years later they were married in Lovington, New Mexico on February 14, 2017. Allan worked for Tessco in Andrews, Texas for many years, prior to that he worked as an electrician for the State of Texas, building many prisons and malls. Allan loved his family dearly and always had a great sense or humor; he was a great little brother. He enjoyed grilling outside, watching the Dallas Cowboys and was known for spoiling his grandchildren; he served as a dad to all the kids. He was a very proud man who was set in his ways and was always very protective of his family.

Allan Minter passed away at his home in Seminole Saturday, January 4, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Minter of Seminole; two daughters, Carly French and spouse Teri of Seminole, and Cara Ramirez and husband Jacob of Andrews, Texas; one brother, Billy Minter and wife Lori of Denver City, Texas; two sisters, Donna Bell and husband Bruce of Baird, Texas, and Rita Light-foot and husband Jerry of Denver City, Texas; four grandchildren, Landon Knight, Conner Taylor, Noah Ramirez, and Emerie Ramirez.
