Sergio was born on July 5, 1974 in Piedras Negras, Mexico. Sergio met and married his wife Guadalupe Martinez Figueroa in 1994. They raised three beautiful daughters together. Olivia “Hopie” Figueroa, who is engaged to Andrew Trevino, Aliyah Yvette Figueroa and his youngest Sophia Lucero Shrauner who is married to Corbin Shrauner. Sergio has two beautiful granddaughters who he loves with all his heart and soul, Vianney Rayna Trevino and Zaylee Luna Trevino. Sergio absolutely loved being the best “Pa” to his grandbabies. He loved his three girls. He was very proud of them all. He was proud of Hopie for the wife and mother she had become, proud of Aliyah for her fighting spirit and her wicked sense of humor they shared and proud of his Sophia for her hard work ethic. He taught all of his girls to be strong independent women. Sergio loved his wife. They were married for 25 years. They both loved riding his Harley and just cruising, sitting on the patio he built just for her, kicking back and listening to music and watching the grandbabies play. Sergio was loved by so many people. He will be greatly missed! He is preceded in death by his grandparents Maria de Carmen Figueroa and Jose Figueroa, uncles, Fidencio and Rolando Figueroa, aunt, Maria Reyes, father-in-law Arturo Martinez, brother-in-laws, Arturo Martinez, Jr. and Jesse Martinez.
Sergio is survived by his wife Guadalupe Figueroa of Andrews, father Higinio Figueroa, daughters, Olivia Esperanza Figueroa and fiancé Andrew Trevino, Aliyah Yvette Figueroa and Sophia Lucero Shrauner and husband Corbin all of Andrews, sisters, Elizabeth Lozano and Maria Figueroa both of Balmorhea, Texas, Diana Gonzales, Sandra Gonzales and Norima Lopez of Andrews, brothers, Joe Figueroa, Hector Figueroa, Luis Figueroa, and Raul Valenzuela of Andrews, Roberto Rodriguez and Jesse Gonzales of Van Horn, Texas, sister-in-laws, Stella Bermea and Lali Martinez, mother-in-law, Gloria Martinez, granddaughters Vianney and Zaylee Trevino of Andrews.
