Patricia Beatley Kinsey, 87, of Odessa, Texas, left this Earth on Wednesday, December 30, 2020.
Born into a large German family in Washington DC on October 9, 1933 she was immediately cherished as an exuberant and vibrant child who was dearly loved by everyone.
As an unconditional lover of people, Pat was easily recognized as a carrier of Light, that drew people into her heart and then fully embraced them... forever, with such a powerful love that her circle of unconditional love grew worldwide.
Pat was a self-taught master cook and baker who has fed thousands of people and she was a master seamstress, crafter, crocheter and designer of beauty, whose works were shared with many others, known, and often unknown.
She was a poet who took no credit, saying the verses she received were given to her from above; she was a comedian who owned and performed in hilarious costumes including her favorite “rose-colored glasses”, and songs Good Ship Lollypop and Life Is Just A Bowl of Cherries.
An unselfish, totally transparent human being, Pat was an humble servant to humanity, especially tuned-in to anyone who was hurting or struggling. Her love knew no bounds. She set the bar very high regarding love and forgiveness, became the role model who changed our lives and left us all a legacy to carry forward, to bring love, joy, hope and compassion to this Earth and ALL who live here.
Deeply loved by her family, her neighbors, and her many, many friends and acquaintances, one of which who stated quite factually that, “If you knew Pat, you dearly loved her. She was very, very special.” Pat adopted everyone she met, becoming Mother, Nana, your best friend and your running buddy.
Pat is survived by son, Wayne Kinsey, wife, Mary Kay, grandsons Chris and Justin; daughter Laura Neeley, husband Steven; son Mark Kinsey, wife Karen, grandchildren Lauren Irving, husband Mark, and sons Thomas and Micah; sister Marlana Thomas, husband Jerry; brother Michael Beatley, wife Mary.
A celebration of Pat’s life will be held in Odessa, Texas, post covid, so that we can join together safely, openly and joyfully, to share her favorite foods and stories. We invite everyone to attend and ask you to bring your favorite memory to share with us all.
In lieu of flowers Pat would be honored to have donations made to homeless shelters or other charitable entities that serve those in need.
