Diana Lopez Trevino, 74, of Andrews, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021, in Odessa, Texas.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews, Texas with Rev. Joseph Ogbonna, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews West Cemetery. Rosary services will be 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM. Diana was born March 4, 1947, in Sanderson, Texas to Cruz Gutierrez Lopez and Frances Hernandez Vasquez Lopez. She married Jose Maria Trevino on June 16, 1961, in Andrews, Texas. She was a devoted member of the Our lady of Lourdes Catholic church for many years. She loved her career working for West Texas Opportunities for many years.
Diana was an extravagant person and always wore a smile. She was a very faithful mother who was always loving, giving, and helping. Diana loved spending time with her family, friends, and enjoyed all gatherings. Her happiness also came from helping others. She loved music of all types and loved to dance. She was a huge fan of Elvis Presley. She loved to travel and shop. She was a very active person, not only physically, but also spiritually.
Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Cruz and Frances Lopez, sister, Frances Bermea, and brother, Jose Lopez. She is survived by her husband, Jose Maria Trevino of Andrews, Texas, children, Darleen M. Trevino and partner Sophia E. Flores of Andrews, Debora A. Bermea and husband Herman H. Rodriguez of Andrews, Jose A. Trevino of Andrews, Joel L. Trevino of Andrews, Lorenzo A. Trevino and wife Wendy S. McCane of Deer Park, Texas, and Jeannette S. Gutierrez and husband Edmundo Gutierrez; brothers, Roman Lopez and wife Viola, and Eloy Lopez and wife Carolina; 20 grandchildren, 60 great – grandchildren, 2 great- great-grandchildren.
