Rita Foreman

Rita Foreman, 82, of Andrews, Texas passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 in Andrews.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life for a Graveside Service at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 17, 2021, at the Andrews North Cemetery with Bobby Gibson officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 – 8 PM Wednesday at McNett Funeral Home.

Rita was born April 27, 1939, in Littlefield, Texas to Floyd Crawford and Edith Barrett. She attended Springlake Earth High School. It was there that she met her husband of 57 years, Butch Foreman, who passed away on September 12, 2014. Together, Butch and Rita owned and operated Speedway Grocery as well as frequently traveling to participate in trade shows where they would display their works. Rita was a talented jewelry maker, seamstress and gardener. Her house frequently overflowed with family and loved ones. She could often be found baking sweets for all those who gathered in her home.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Butch Foreman, Sister Juanell Miller, Brother Gene Crawford, Brother-in-Law Cliff Delay, Grandson Roby Gibson, and Granddaughter Chasity Foreman.

Rita, better known as Mom or Grandmoms is survived by her children, Kellie Gibson and Husband Bobby, Tony Foreman and Diane Pipkin; Her Grandchildren, Brandi Norvell and Husband Justin, Jeremy Lloyd and wife Angela, Jordy Lewis and wife Isabel Luna, as well as Zack Foreman; Great-Grandchildren Cris, Jonah, John Oliver, Joel, Jhatton, Syvannah, Julianna, Ellieannah, Maggie and Dime; Great-Great Grandchildren Addy and Pheobe; And Caretaker Eva Abbott.
