Lynn Edwards Jones, 74, of Andrews TX passed away on, October, 11, 2021 in Andrews, Texas. Lynn was born on May 21, 1947 to William H. Edwards and Maxine Irene “Greenfield”. She went to school in Post, Tx and graduated in 1965. She married Dolphus “Bud” Jones in Hobbs, NM. On September 14, 1985 and they shared 36 wonderful years together. She was employed at Permian General Hospital and Anesthesia Management Services until she retired.

Lynn was a wonderful mother, loving grandmother, and faithful wife. She was a member of the Means Memorial United Methodist Church and very strong in her faith. She enjoyed shopping, decorating her home for every holiday, quilting, and doing puzzles. She had a special place in her heart for her dogs and cats. She loved to go fishing and do anything that pertained to her family. Lynn will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her husband: Dolphus “Bud” Jones of Andrews, TX.; daughters: Kimberly Copeland of Odessa, TX.; Ashley Kingsley and husband Michael of San Angelo, TX.; Lindsey Glasscock and husband Justin of Odessa, TX.; Dawn Marshall of Durham, NC.; and Monica Willburn of Durham, NC.; 10 grandchildren: Haley Gonzalez, Christopher Willburn, Taylor Ray, Mason Murphree, Amberlyn Glasscock, Ava Reed, Brooklynn Reed, Claire Kingsley, Carter Atkins, Declan Kingsley, and Hayes Glasscock; and 3 great grandchildren: Addison Sperry, Dominick Copeland, Shepard Gonzalez, and Chapel Gonzalez.

Lynn is preceded in death by her parents: William and Maxine Edwards.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate her life at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Means Memorial United Methodist Church, officiated by Reverend Rick Doyle and Chaplain Chris Hager. Burial followed at the Andrews County Cemetery. The family received friends Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at McNett Funeral Home.

In Lieu of flowers donations in Lynn Jones name can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Means Memorial United Methodist Church.
