Peggy Sue Mangus

Peggy Sue Mangus, 64, of Andrews, passed away on December 17, 2021, in Andrews, Texas.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate her life with a graveside service at 10:00AM, Monday, December 20, 2021, at the Andrews North Cemetery with friends and family officiating. Arrangements are under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home.

Peggy was born in Fort Farfield, Maine on June 2, 1957, to John Wilson Buckner and Edith Navata Kelley. She married Frank Mangus in 1984. Peggy was known to love camping, fishing, and mostly loved the outdoors. She also loved going to the casino. Her grandkids were her world, along with her dog Blaze. It was safe to say she just loved life in general.

Peggy is preceded in death by both her parents, her son David John Mangus; Sister Pamela Prieto; Father-In-Law General Lee Mangus and Mother-In-Law Oleta Mangus.

She is survived by her Husband Frank Mangus of Andrews, Texas; Daughters; Maria Man gus and husband Donny of Odessa, Texas; Jamie Mangus of Andrews, Texas and Shannon Mangus of Brownwood, Texas; Sons; Rowdy Darrough and wife Priscilla of Andrews, Texas and Jason Mangus and wife Amanda of Indiana. Brothers; John Buckner Jr. and wife Lori of Andrews, Texas; Ronnie Buckner and wife Karen of Midland Texas; Sisters; Shirley Fowler of San Angelo, Texas; Edith Rodriguez and husband Stephen of Bakersfield, California; Stacy Griffis and husband Kirby of Indiana; 11 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.
