Maria Delfina Routzahn

Maria Delfina Routzahn, 84, of Midland, Texas passed away peacefully in her home in the early morning hours of February 11, 2022, surrounded by her loving niece and good friend.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate her life at 10:00am Monday, February 14, 2022, at The Andrews Old Cemetery, in Andrews, Texas. A visitation was held Sunday, February 13, 2022, at the McNett Funeral Home Chapel from 5-7pm. Arrangements under the care of McNett Funeral Home.

Maria moved to Midland to be close to her daughter and grandchildren. If she wasn’t found tending to her extravagant garden, she was often found enjoying movies and playing cartoons for her great grandchildren. When she wasn’t, she was babysitting for the family’s fur babies. Maria’s true passion was cooking for her entire family. Maria loved being a grandmother to everyone because it’s what she did best. She showed her love through food and made sure no one left hungry. In her earlier years, Maria enjoyed traveling the world visiting many places including Egypt, Italy, Peru, Costa Rica, China, Russia, Cuba, and many other places.

Maria is survived by her daughter Vondie Silipo of Midland, Texas, grandchildren Dawn Vickery Reeves and husband Ryan, Marde Vickery and fiancé Sergio and Dominick Silipo and wife Jocelyn, great grandchildren Brantley, Logan and Annabelle, and many Nieces and Nephews along with many extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital
