Karan Kay Humphrey

Karan Kay Humphrey, age 75, of Aztec, NM., passed away, July 19, 2022, in Aztec, NM.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 1:00 PM Thursday, July 28, 2022, at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews, Texas with Rev. Rick Doyle officiating. Interment will follow at the Andrews County North Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Lynn Holcomb, Austin Luna, Zandy Humphrey, Keeley Holcomb, Kirk Humphrey, and Zackary Humphrey. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 5PM-8PM at the McNett Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the care of McNett Funeral Home.

Karan was born October 15, 1946, in Andrews, Texas to Clovis F. Bostick and Reba V. “Haggard”. She married, George

“Mack” Humphrey, June 4, 1966, in Andrews, TX, and they spent 55 amazing years together until his passing in 2021. She enjoyed going to car shows with Mack and loved to garden. Karan liked tending to the hummingbirds that came to visit her garden. She loved to be with her family especially her grandchildren. She loved to be able to do new things with them. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be dearly missed.

Karan is survived by her son: Thurston Kirk Humphrey and wife Shannon of Dickenson, TX; daughter: Batina Holcomb and husband Lynn of Andrews, TX; sisters: Wanda Coombes and husband Henry of Odessa, TX; and Reba Criner and husband J.B. of Mertzon, TX; grandchildren: Zackary and Zandy Humphrey, Brandi Luna, and Keeley Holcomb; and great grandchildren: Nolan Luna and Braison Luna

Karan is preceded in death by her husband: George “Mack” Humphrey; parents: Clovis and Reba Bostick; and sister: Nell Willeford.
