Lydia Guadalupe Aldape, 55, of Andrews, TX passed from this life Saturday, March 18, 2023, in Midland, TX.

Family and Friends will gather to celebrate her life 1:00PM, Friday, March 24, 2023, at McNett Funeral Home in Andrews, Texas with Pastor Mary Trevino officiating. Burial will follow at the Andrews North Cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 12:00PM-8:00PM at McNett Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home.

Lydia was born October 20, 1967, in Seagraves TX; to Jose Guzman Jr. and Lucinda “Zerby” Guzman. She married Jose Angel Aldape March 23, 1983, in Seminole Texas and they spent 32 amazing years together until his passing in April of 2015. He family was always her #1 priority. Her grandchild held her whole heart, she loved being with them every chance she had. Lydia was a hard-working woman, and a woman with great faith in God. Her family called her a jack of all trades, she did everything from owning and operating a backhoe company, to being a caretaker of the elderly. She loved to craft, listen to music and dance. Lydia had a heart the size of Texas, she always put everyone ahead of herself. She was a fighter and fought all the way to the end. Lydia was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, mother-in-law, and friend she will be dearly missed by many.

She is survived by her sons:.Christopher Aldape and wife Maria of Midland, TX; and Vincent Nunez and wife Maria of Andrews, TX; daughter: Ericka Aldape and fiancé Blas Casas of Midland, TX; Robert J.J. Aldape and wife Lensey of Andrews, TX; brother: Joe Guzman III and wife Amy of Seminole, TX; 18 grandchildren:; CJ; Alayli; Ciera; Meladi; Harmony; Kaia; Kolbe; Josiah; Zek; Anabelle; Dom; Laila; Colter; Cassius; Jullie; Omarr; Gaby; Aliya and grand dog: Coco.

Lydia is preceded in death by her husband; Jose Angel Aldape; parents: Joe and Lucinda Guzman; brother: Daniel Guzman; and sister: Rachel Moreno.
