Shirley Ann Francis Stout

Shirley Ann Francis Stout, age 76, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023 in Andrews, Texas. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Shirley graduated from Andrews High School in 1965. She held various vocational degrees including dental assistant and flight attendant. She was also a homemaker, waitress and office clerk and retired from Porter’s Thriftway in 2015.

She married Harold Stout in Andrews, Texas on July 25, 1967 and spent a decade traveling the world, living in Tehran, Iran and Singapore before moving back to the United States to Montana in 1981 and then finally returning back home to Andrews, Texas in 1985.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold and their son Billy, her parents Thomas and June Francis, her brother George, and grandson Hunter North.

She is survived by her sister Janette Lewis of Odessa, Texas; her son Dewayne Stout and his wife Becky of Andrews, Texas; daughter Sandrea Brito and her husband Jorge of Lovington, New Mexico; daughter Susan North and her husband Ryan of Lubbock, Texas; grandchildren Keith Ajax, Amanda (Jesse) Critel, William Dishman, Kali (Austin) Garza, Rebecca Stout, Armando Brito, Madison North, Andres Brito, Peyton North, Ashton North, Jessalyn Brielle Brito; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 5:00 P.M -7:00 P.M. at McNett’s Funeral Home in Andrews, Texas. Services will be held in the Chapel at McNett’s Funeral Home on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. with burial immediately following at the Andrews County West Cemetery.
