Elizabeth Ann Bronaugh, a cherished mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2024, in Odessa, TX. Born on April 6, 1954, in Big Spring, TX, Elizabeth lived a life marked by warmth, kindness, and a vibrant love for her family and community.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 3:00PM, Friday, February 2, 2023, at the Andrews County North Cemetery with Pastor Glenn Hammack officiating. Arrangements are under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home.

Elizabeth’s life journey began as the beloved daughter of the late John C. and Lavone Bolton Bronaugh.

She grew up alongside her siblings, the late Phylis Bronaugh, the late John Bronaugh Jr., and her surviving brother, Jason Bronaugh of Alamogordo, NM. Elizabeth’s spirited personality and caring nature were evident from a young age, traits that she carried throughout her life.

For many years, Elizabeth dedicated herself to her work as a manager of a convenience store, where she was known for her hard work, reliability, and the friendly rapport she maintained with customers and employees alike. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her devotion to her family.

Elizabeth’s legacy is lovingly carried on by her daughters: Cecilia Holly and her husband Roy of Andrews, TX, Charity Scott and her husband Tim W. of Levelland, TX, and Felicia Fikes of Andrews, TX. She was a beacon of love and guidance for her grandchildren: Christine Portillo and her husband Gonzalo, Brett Holly and his wife Courtney, Kacey Scott, Megan Scott, Ashton Scott, Leandra Carman and her husband Justin, and Seth Price and his wife Zoe, as well as her ten great-grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit will live on in the hearts of her numerous nieces and nephews, who remember her fondly for her warmth and generosity.

An avid bingo player, Elizabeth’s laughter and joy were contagious at the local bingo halls, where she was a well-known and beloved figure. Her sweet tooth was legendary, and she could often be found savoring a treat while surrounded by her adoring grandchildren. Elizabeth’s love for movies provided countless hours of entertainment and togetherness for her family. Her social nature was one of her most defining traits; she thrived on conversation and cherished the time spent with friends and loved ones.

Elizabeth’s impact on those around her was immeasurable. Her kindness and openness made her a confidante and friend to many. Her passion for life and the connections she forged within her community will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

As we bid farewell to Elizabeth Ann Bronaugh, we celebrate a life lived with enthusiasm, a heart given freely to others, and a spirit that enriched the lives of all who crossed her path. Her memory will be held in the highest regard, a testament to the love and light she brought into this world.
