Raymond Rodney Noble
Rodney, known by many as “Hot Rod”, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024, in Midland, Texas.
He was born October 1, 1943, in Brownwood, Texas to Oleta and Forrest Noble. The family moved to Andrews Texas in 1946 where he attended Andrews Schools. It was there, where he winked at Jane across the room in typing class when they were 14 years old. During his high school years, Rodney was very athletic, playing football and baseball, and was part of the 1961 track team under Coach Goldsmith that won state in the mile relay. Rodney graduated from Andrews High School in 1961 - attended the University of North Texas and graduated with a business degree in 1967. After graduation, Rodney worked for Braniff Airline and Humble Oil & Refining. In 1972, he joined the Noble Oldsmobile family business and worked there until opening up his own body repair shop in 1992. In 1993, Rodney became the Andrews County Auditor and worked as the auditor for 20 years until he retired.
Rodney was very involved in the community, president of the hospital board, president of the Chamber of Commerce, and on the school board. Since 2013, Jane and Rodney have made their home in Lampasas, Texas. He loved God, family, friends, and his 1967 toy Corvette.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Sarah Jane Noble of Lampasas Texas; sister: Kathleen Brewer of Mckinney Texas; 2 daughters: Carmen Leigh Noble of Lampasas Texas, April Noble Aglipay of Allen Texas; Son in law Greg Aglipay of Allen Texas; 7 grandchildren: Amy Beth Castleberry, Taylor Castleberry, Connor Castleberry, Sarah Ashlee Hardaway, Zoe Aglipay, Eli Aglipay and Isaac Aglipay; great granddaughter Evelyn Mae. His lifelong high school brothers Coker Lassiter, Lesley Blackburn, Ted Nelson, Tommy Walker, and Darvis Cormier.
Proceeded in death by his parents Oleta & Forrest Noble; Brother: Bradley Noble.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 2:00PM, Monday, July 1, 2024, at the McNett Funeral Home Chapel. He will be laid to rest at the Andrews North Cemetery Visitation will be held from 11:00AM-2:00PM, Monday, July 1, 2024, at McNett Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the personal care of Mc-Nett Funeral Home.
