Elizabeth Adele Flores, a beacon of love and creativity, passed away on October 5, 2024, in Texas. Born on July 26, 1952, in Atlanta, Texas, Elizabeth’s life was a tapestry of devotion to her family, her church, and her community. She was a cherished wife, a beloved mother, a proud grandmother, a dear sister, and a friend to many.

Elizabeth’s spirit and love knew no bounds, especially when it came to her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Mike Flores of Andrews, TX, with whom she shared countless cherished moments. Her legacy lives on through her daughter, Saprina Flores of Andrews, TX, and her treasured granddaughter, Karmailla Paige Flores-Velazquez, also of Andrews, TX. Elizabeth’s memory will be held dear by her brother, Jimmy Virgil Gibson and his wife Linda of Forney, TX, and her sister, Shirley Dean Keck of Andrews, TX. Her life was rich with family connections that While Elizabeth’s presence will be profoundly missed, her spirit joins those who have passed before her, including her loving parents, Archie and Ruby Gibson; her brothers, Donald Wayne Gibson and Jerry Ray Gibson; her Aunt Opal Moore; and her cousins, Benny Moore and Dickey Moore.

Elizabeth’s life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her home and those she cared for. As a homemaker, she created a warm and welcoming environment that was the heart of many family gatherings. Her service to others extended beyond her household as she volunteered with the Pink Ladies, offering her time and compassion to help those in need. Elizabeth’s nurturing nature was also evident during her time as a bus driver for high school students from 1979 to 1981, a role she embraced with joy and kindness.

Her interests were as varied as they were delightful. Elizabeth’s relationship with God was profound, and she found great comfort and strength in her faith. She was an active member of her church, where she formed lasting bonds with her church family. Elizabeth’s hobbies reflected her creative and spirited nature. Cooking and crocheting were not just pastimes but expressions of love, as she often shared her culinary creations and crafted items with those around her.

Elizabeth’s zest for life shone through her enjoyment of table games, which allowed her to engage with her family and friends in laughter and friendly competition. Her love for shopping was more than a leisure activity; it was an opportunity to find the perfect gifts for her loved ones, a tangible demonstration of her thoughtfulness.

As we bid farewell to Elizabeth Adele Flores, we celebrate a life lived to the fullest, marked by an unwavering commitment to her family, faith, and community. Her legacy is one of love, joy, and the beautiful simplicity of a life well-lived. A Visitation for family and friends was held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 PM. A Funeral Service to celebrate her life was held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Andrews Church of Christ.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the personal care of McNett Funeral Home.
