Permian Regional Medical Center was recently approved for a substantial vaccine allotment through the state that will not only cover all its frontline healthcare workers, but also local first responders, PRMC CEO Donny Booth said Monday.
Booth hoped the vaccine would arrive at the local hospital before Christmas.
PRMC was allotted 400 doses of Moderna’s vaccine, he said.
“We’re just waiting on the shipping,” Booth explained. “It was sent to the state from Moderna. As soon as we get it, we’ve already got policy set up.
