It’s hard to believe how fast the first six weeks of summer flew by. You blink and before you know it, it’s the end of July and school is about to start again. The first six weeks of summer are always an exciting time at the library. It’s our busiest time of the year and the biggest opportunity we have to help kids fall in love with reading. It’s always sad when the six weeks wrap up, but we are excited to celebrate another successful summer reading program.
An Andrews man who sexually abused a juvenile female after giving her a ride home in his vehicle in December of 2021 was recently sentenced during a hearing in 109th District Court, according to a criminal disposition report from the district clerk’s office.
