Though it has likely occurred in many instances when not legal, alcohol consumption at county facilities will soon be permitted following commissioners court action during a Tuesday afternoon workshop session.
A recent discussion between county and city officials concerning the city possibly annexing an area northeast from Loop 1910 to allow alcohol at specified county facilities was “favorable,” the county judge said Tuesday during a commissioners court workshop.
