AEDC goals include seeing more jobs created during upcoming fiscal year

The Andrews Economic Development Corporation’s work plan for 2020- 2021 involving business attraction, infrastructure and communication and marketing was approved Thursday night by the city council.

Also, the AEDC’s annual operating budget was considered by council members. Goals for next year are centered on the AEDC’s purpose of “promoting, assisting and enhancing economic development enterprise in and around Andrews.”

AISD prepares for school with disinfecting effort

Serena Payne has retired after 16 years of service as the Victim Assistant Coordinator for the County Attorneys Office. Serena began with John Pool and worked with Tim Mason and Sean Galloway. She plans on moving to Plano, TX where she will work for Tyler Technologies. Dyana Ellison will be replacing Serna when she leaves.
