The Andrews Mustangs freshman ‘B’ team pulled out a 26-12 road win over Hereford Thursday.

Gold medal wins in the 100 free by sophomores Rebecca Robertson and Tucker Walker plus the boys AHS 200 free relay combo of Brenden Ferguson, Darin Powers, Landyn Brewer and Cash Coats blistering the field was more than enough for Andrews High School to win three of the four dual matches against 6A Midland Lee and Midland High. AHS coach Mike Waldmann’s boys beat Midland High 132-110 and Midland Lee 166-70, while the AHS girls split their two matches downing Lee 148-86 before losing to MHS 142-97.

The Andrews Mustangs 8 ‘A’ football team added another notch to the ‘W’ column with a 37-2 win over the Pecos Eagles. The win kept AMS undefeated at 4-0.

Armed with four freshmen on the five-player team, the number two varsity Andrews Mustangs golf team tied for sixth place at the Seminole Classic Friday and Saturday
