Two of our Andrews County 4H members placed in the 2020 Texas State 4H Indoor Archery Championship. Members Drake Hill, age 10, and Hunter Cathey, age 11, attended the match on March 14, 2020 in Fort Stockton, Texas. Drake placed 1st in the First Year Shooter Division of the Compound Aided Division. Hunter placed 2nd in the Compound Aided Division Overall. The 4H Archery Team works hard to achieve such goals as they practice from August to March in preparation for the competition, as well as competing in other 4H projects as well. The program is off to a strong start as the members continue to grow in their archery skills.
