Sports Editor’s Note: This is what was read at the 2020 Max Goldsmith Mustang Relays prior to the introduction and recognition of four of the six Andrews Mustang track stars from the 1960 AHS 440 and 1600 relay teams that set national records. The four present were Leslie Blackburn, Darvis Cormier, Larry Shoemaker and Ted Nelson. Johnny Landrum was not able to attend and R. E. Merritt has passed.
