An “I love you coach!” came out of nowhere as the Andrews Mustangs took a knee for their final Tuesday morning team talk with AHS head coach Ralph Mason with the clock striking 10.

With sweat dancing the Macarena and the thirst for water the deal of the moment – the stage was set to conclude practice.

While the “I love you coach!” might sound out of place in other settings – it was not in the circle of Mustang football.

That’s the way things have been done since the day Mason took over.
