Andrews 8th track girls dominate Levelland relays

Behind eight individual gold medal wins, including two by Addy Baeza, and a new school record in the 4x400 relay by the combo of Emma Nunez, Rylan Newbrough, Macie Miller and Baeza, the Andrews Lady Mustangs 8th grade track team totaled 266 team points to win the Levelland Relays.

Ortiz pitching, Chesshire hitting take down Pecos to keep Lady Mustangs perfect in district

AHS freshman Noemi Ortiz went a full seven innings on the mound while limiting Pecos to six hits, plus sophomore Emmerson Chesshire had two huge hits for two RBI’s to keep the Andrews Lady Mustangs perfect in district play with a tough 4-2 road win at Pecos.
