Four games into the district season, the Andrews Lady Mustangs might not be one of the top two teams in 3-4A going by record, but Coach Dylan Ballard’s girls are in great shape for one of the four playoff berths.
A week after the Andrews Powerlifting boys team won the team title at the Big Spring Meet, Coach Eric Pierce’s squad came up just short at Monahans, placing second by a mere three points to the host Monahans boys 37-34.
For the first two minutes of the much-anticipated district basketball game – the Andrews Lady Mustangs and the Seminole Maidens – things looked great for Coach Dylan Ballard’s squad.
